Olentangy Community 5K Canceled for Saturday, March 8 Due to Weather

On the advice of school officials and county sheriff, the Olentangy Community 5K has been canceled. There will be no make-up date. All entries will be transferred to the Freedom 4 Miler on July 4. If you have any questions, please contact us.

2008 Fat Rabbit Racing Schedule Announced

The 2008 Schedule is available and registration is open for most events. As many as you know, the members of Fat Rabbit Racing are athletes. Over the past several years as our business has grown we haven't the chance to race as much as we desire. This year, we have trimmed back our schedule to focus on some key events but more importantly allow us the opportunity to race and compete along side of you. Some of the exciting races we are planning on doing ourselves our Austin Marathon, St Croix 70.3, Ironman Brazil, Steelhead 70.3, Escape from Alcatraz, STP (Seattle to Portland) Bike Tour, Tour De Grandview, and Berlin Marathon. We may compete in 1 or 2 quality races in Ohio if it fits our schedule.

Pilgrim's Progress Results Delay

We apologize for the delay in posting results from the Pilgrim's Progress 4 Miler. We experienced a software corruption error with our timing machine when we uploading run scores. We are waiting for a software fix and file recovery protocol from the manufacturer. We are still hoping to post results.

A Community Comes Together to Celebrate Families Thanksgiving

Families from Lewis Center, Powell, Westerville, Worthington and from around Central Ohio came together for a new tradition on Thanksgiving Day as "Families helping Families" in support of the treatment of cerebral palsy and the Luke Billings Foundation. Over 500 runners and walkers took part of the inaugural Pilgrims Progress 4 Miler and many families took part in the special race eve dinner at Brio Tuscan Grill. Mark your calendar today for the 2008 event!

Support the fight against Cerebral Palsy with a Special Dinner at Brio's on Wednesday, November 21

Join the Billings Family at Brio's at Polaris on Wednesday, November 21 from 5 pm - 8 pm for a very special Pasta Buffet on behalf of the Luke Billings Foundation for the Treatment of Cerebral Palsy. The cost of the Pasta Buffet is $9.95 per person, and includes several pasta choices, protein station, salad bar, bread and non-alcoholic beverages. 25% ($2.50) of the Buffet price will go directly to the Luke Billings Foundation.

The dinner is a prelude to the inaugural Pilgrim's Progress 4 Mile Run and Walk on Thanksgiving Day benefitting the Luke Billings Foundation.

A Time to Count Your Blessings - New Thanksgiving Day Event Announced

Fat Rabbit Racing has partnered with the Polaris Fashion Place and Dick's Sporting Goods to bring a Thanksgiving Day event called the Pilgrim's Progress 4 mile run and walk to the Polaris area. The event benefits the Luke Billings Foundation, an organization established to help provide financial assistance to Central Ohio children with Cerebral Palsy to attend Euro-peds, the only hospital-based intensive therapy program in the United States. The Pilgrims Progress 4 miler is a time for friends, families and the community to come together in the spirit of fitness and charity to celebrate the many blessings and to "give back" to the benefit of children with Cerebral Palsy. Current Standings for 2007 CHASE Battle of Ohio Triathlon Series

The series is complete for the 2007 Triathlon series with one race to go for the Duathlon Series. All awards will be distributed the week after the Powerman Ohio and Mohican Valley Duathlons. If you signed up for the series and did not complete the minimum 3 races you were not scored in the series. Thanks to everyone who participated in our triathlons this year. Chase Battle of Ohio Triathlon & Duathlon Series kicks-off with a Splash

Hundreds of triathletes and duathletes from around the region took part in the 2007 series openers this weekend at the Vineyard LiveWell Triathlon (OH) and the Buffalo Trails Triathlon & Duathlon (KY). The Vineyard Livewell Triathlon saw participation increase an outstanding 92% over the prior year. Athletes earn series points at each race in order to challenge to become the 2007 series and age group champions. Next Battle: Cincinnati Int’l Triathlon & Sports Festival – June10.

Vineyard Live Well Athlete Instructions

Vineyard Athletes - please note that you should only go to Brooks Park (T1) in Millersport on Saturday morning - You Do NOT need to go to the Church (T2) before the race to drop-off run items. Your run items will be transferred to T2 at the church prior to and during the race via the numbered bag given to you at packet pick-up. It is recommended that Duathletes if possible have a 2nd pair of running shoes for the 2nd run to be transported prior to the race. For Athlete Instructions click here.

Fat Rabbit Racing participants will be able to rent quality wetsuits for ALL of our 2007 triathlons, aquathlons, and open water swims. FRR Triathlon & Duathlon Bike Course Changed Due to Planned Road Construction

The June 24th event's bike course has been changed due to planned road closures and road repairs. The Sprint and Junior distance bike course have been changed to a 20K (~12.4 miles). The Sprint Duathlon 1st run has also been changed to a 2 mile run. The distance of the international events will remain the same. See course description for the new course and distance changes.

2007 Metro Parks Running and Walking Series Kicks-off April 7 at Sharon Woods

The running club for grades 3-8 is a great opportunity for kids to learn how to run in an organized fashion and maintain a healthy lifestyle. There will be 4 youth running races throughout 2007.
